I want to ask you some questions about career orientation in US. How does it work? Do parents order their children to learn in some major that they (parents) like?
We don't have a career orientation system in the US. Students are free to pick any major they want. They can even change their minds and pick a different major later. After graduation they can apply for a job in any field they want.

ReplyDeleteThe students pick their own majors. Parents might try to persuade them to follow a particular major but the students get to pick for themselves.
Deletebut how does the career orientation system work in your country? I mean actions of the government or schools, or uni, etc...
